Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect the little we need to tell you the best way to pay: who you are, which cards and discount apps you carry, your salary band for card eligibility, and — only if you allow it — your location, to find shops near you. We never ask for card numbers or bank logins, and we do not sell your data.
What we collect
Sign-in details. Depending on how you sign in: your mobile number, your email address, or the account identifier, name and email your Apple, Google or Facebook account shares with us. Guest sign-in creates an anonymous account with none of these.
Profile. Your name, a contact email or phone number if you add one, and your monthly salary.
Your wallet. Which credit cards and which discount app memberships you tell us you have.
Location. If you grant permission, your approximate location, used at that moment to list nearby shops. We do not keep a history of where you have been.
Searches. The shop names you search for, so we can look them up.
What we never collect
We never ask for and never store card numbers, expiry dates, CVV or PIN codes, bank login credentials, or bank statements. KhalasSave does not connect to your bank account and cannot see your transactions. Telling us you hold a card is just a label — it gives us no access to it.
Why we use it
- Your salary decides which cards you are eligible for, so we do not recommend cards you cannot get.
- Your wallet lets us calculate your best combination of card and discount app.
- Your location finds shops around you.
- Your sign-in details identify your account and keep your wallet attached to you.
We rely on your consent for location, and on the performance of our agreement with you for the rest.
Who we share it with
Supabase, our hosting and database provider, stores your account and wallet on our behalf.
Photon, an OpenStreetMap search service operated by komoot, receives the shop name you typed and your approximate coordinates, but only when a shop is not already in our own catalogue.
Apple, Google or Facebook, if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also share information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and wallet while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile, wallet and sign-in identity. Shops discovered through map search are kept as an anonymous shared catalogue entry that is not linked to you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. You can edit your profile and wallet in the app at any time, and you can withdraw location permission in your device settings. To make a request, write to support@khalassave.com.
Children
KhalasSave is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and its effective date.
